Generating Reports in Microsoft Word
SmartReport generates reports in the format of Microsoft Word documents. Thermal analysis, comments, annotations, infrared images and linked to them visual images are stored together and handled in SmartReport. Then, all these data can be sent to a report using predefined templates.
The advantages of such an approach are the following:
- The thermal analysis is made in the convenient and specially developed for the purpose workspace of SmartReport.
- Quick report creation: routine, oft-recurring jobs SmartReport takes upon itself.
- A report is a single file in the widely spread Microsoft Word format, which can be easily sent to a customer or converted into another form.
- Pictures, diagrams and data in the report are active, this means that at any time if you find a mistake, you can return the picture with the analysis back to SmartReport and correct them.
- With the help of the Thermo Reports toolbar SmartReport assists you also in creating your custom report templates.
- You can export not only pictures and diagrams, but any analysis data in the text form as well.
Create a report for infrared images
Before creating a report, you need to make the thermographic analysis of your infrared image. It is easier also to define
notations and comments and link visual images in SmartReport before creating the report, than to do it later while editing
the report in Word (though, it is possible to do it even then).
Easy and quick single page report:
- Choose an image;
- Click on “Create Report for Image…”;
- Choose a predefined template or create your own customized template;
- That’s it;
